For me so far the top as far as cell phone holders/stands go, the base is heavy enough to hold well and not tip over, but I have no idea why they didn't put some sort of stopper in there because you practically just sit the rest of the stand in there and a couple of times I've tipped it over and it falls out very easily. The arm holds firmly and you can lock it at all the hinge joints. The pin on the MT also holds well and spreads easily, but the joint at it is not very strong even when fully tightened, I don't have some extremely heavy phone, even so it moves a bit spontaneously according to the weight of the phone if I don't set the rest correctly. But even so, it's the best I've tried so far, as it's practically just crumbs, and it's fully usable. It's also easy to fold and thus takes up less space.
