Tarot is a Finnish heavy metal band known as one of Finland’s pioneers in the genre. They gained recognition with their 1986 album Spell of Iron and its standout track "Wings of Darkness." Although popular in Finland’s underground scene for years, Tarot reached an international audience after bassist and vocalist Marko Hietala found success with Nightwish. With renewed global interest, Tarot re-recorded Spell of Iron for its 25th anniversary.
