The Wireless GO Gen 3 is a third-generation dual wireless audio system comprising two transmitters and a dual receiver, designed for broadcast-quality recording of spoken word, reporting, vlogs, YouTube content, and on-the-go audio production. Each transmitter features intelligent GainAssist technology, 32-bit float recording with 32 GB of internal memory, and RØDE Series IV 2.4 GHz transmission delivering a range of up to 260 m line-of-sight. Built-in broadcast-quality condenser microphones and a threaded 3.5 mm TRS input for external lavaliers make it adaptable to virtually any recording scenario.

TX Transmitters

GainAssist technology automatically detects the input signal level and adjusts sensitivity for optimal capture of any voice or sound. Internal memory supports standard recording, Safety Channel dual-track recording at two volume levels, and automatic 32-bit float capture. Every recording includes a Time Stamp for easy video synchronisation in post-production.

Standalone Recording

Each transmitter functions as an independent voice recorder, ensuring audio is never lost even when the receiver connection is interrupted or audio is distorted by a loud source. The USB-C connector handles charging and connects to the RØDE Central app for settings configuration and recording download. A full charge delivers 7 hours of operation, extendable with the optional Charge Case Plus.

RX Dual Receiver

The dual receiver wirelessly captures the encrypted digital signal from both transmitters and outputs it via a 3.5 mm TRRS connector, which also supports headphone monitoring. Output levels are controlled via two dedicated buttons, and users can switch between Stereo mode (two independent channels) and Mono mode (both transmitters mixed). The USB-C connector enables charging, RØDE Central configuration, and use of the receiver as an audio interface for smartphones or computers.

On-Screen Display

The clear display shows receiver battery status, selected Stereo/Mono mode, output levels per channel, transmitter battery levels, wireless signal quality, input volume of both transmitters, and on-board recording status — providing a complete system overview at a glance.

Direct Connect for iOS

A firmware update adds Direct Connect functionality, enabling the transmitters to link directly to iOS devices via Bluetooth® through the RØDE Capture app — without a physical receiver. Direct Connect supports real-time signal level monitoring, separate or combined track recording, GainAssist control from within the app, and preserves the full 32-bit float internal recording backup (32 GB / over 40 hours). Firmware activation is performed via the RØDE Central desktop app.
