Ren Höek and Stimpson J Cat are the offbeat duo at the center of the animated series The Ren and Stimpy Show and its spinoff Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon. Created by John Kricfalusi while at Sheridan College, they debuted in the pilot Big House Blues. Ren is an excitable and neurotic Chihuahua, while Stimpy is his naïve, cheerful Manx cat companion. Together, their misadventures are marked by absurd humor and surreal situations.
