Alan Parsons, born on December 20, 1948, is an acclaimed English audio engineer, songwriter, musician, singer, and producer. He played a major role as sound engineer on landmark albums like the Beatles' Abbey Road and Let It Be, as well as Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Parsons gained further recognition as the leader of the Alan Parsons Project, known for its innovative and commercially successful recordings. Over his career, he has earned 14 Grammy nominations, winning his first in 2019 for Best Immersive Audio Album with the 35th Anniversary Edition of Eye in the Sky.
