Aphrodite's Child was a Greek band formed in 1967, featuring Vangelis on keyboards and flutes, Demis Roussos on bass, guitar, and vocals, Loukas Sideras on drums and vocals, and Silver Koulouris on guitar. The group rose to fame in Europe with pop-rock hits like Rain and Tears and It's Five O'Clock. They later shifted toward progressive rock with their acclaimed 1972 album 666, a landmark concept record inspired by the Book of Revelation and celebrated as a classic of the genre.
