The Audient iD14 MKII is a 10-in/6-out USB-C audio interface built around the same fully analogue, discrete mic preamp circuit found in Audient's flagship ASP8024-HE recording console. What Sets This Interface Apart

The Audient Console Mic Preamp is a discrete, all-analogue design descended directly from the ASP8024-HE console — no emulations, no digital copies. Combined with 32-bit ESS AD/DA converters delivering 126 dB of DAC dynamic range, the unit captures and reproduces audio with clarity that competes with interfaces costing several times more. The configurable iD button assigns DIM, CUT, Polarity Reverse, Mono Sum, Talkback, or Cue Mix monitoring on the fly.

Inputs and Preamps

Two combo XLR/TRS inputs accept microphones or line-level signals, while a front-panel 6.3 mm JFET instrument input replicates the input stage of a classic valve amplifier. Both preamp channels deliver 48 V phantom power independently.

Conversion and Digital Expansion

Recording at up to 96 kHz / 24-bit, the 32-bit ESS converters deliver 126 dB DAC and 120 dB ADC dynamic range. The optical input accepts both ADAT and S/PDIF, adding up to 8 extra preamp channels via an outboard expander.

Four balanced 6.3 mm line outputs support two sets of monitors for A/B mix translation. Two independent headphone outputs (6.3 mm and 3.5 mm) drive headphones up to 600 ohms. The all-metal chassis measures just over 17 cm wide.
