Big Country is a Scottish rock band formed in 1981 in Dunfermline by Stuart Adamson, Bruce Watson, Tony Butler, and Mark Brzezicki. The band enjoyed major success in the UK throughout the 1980s, earning top ten albums and hits such as Look Away and collaborating with artists like Kate Bush. After Adamson’s passing in 2001, Big Country reformed with new members, releasing The Journey in 2013, and continue to tour, recognized for their passionate following and enduring Celtic-influenced sound.
