The GLE 80 creates the unique Canton sound with drivers made of titanium.
Precise and powerful bass is child's play for the two 174 mm woofers, which reproduce enormous bass in an optimally tuned bass reflex cabinet. There are used highly stable titanium diaphragms that can follow fast music impulses even more precisely. In the acoustically immensely important midrange, too, titanium drivers are used. Thanks to the large 174 mm midrange driver, the GLE 80 sounds incredibly agile and shines with the best dynamics, outstanding resolution and unsurpassed balance. The GLE 80 has aluminium-manganese tweeter systems with 25 mm domes, which are equipped with sophisticated waveguides for ideal sound dispersion and coupling and, thanks to optimised crossovers, enable reproduction up to 40,000 Hertz. The outstanding technical equipment is further underlined by the loudspeaker drivers with stable polycarbonate baskets, potent magnetic drives and triple folded wave surrounds.
The slim GLE 80 3-way loudspeakers are both modern and neutral in design and can be integrated into any living ambience thanks to their harmonious proportions. The black fabric covers, which are magnetically attached to the baffles, are a decorative feature.
The well-proportioned GLE 80 is 100 centimetres tall, yet only 19 centimetres wide and 30 centimetres deep. Four feet integrated into the bottom of the cabinet ensure a firm footing on the floor.
