Fender Squier Affinity Series Jazz Bass MN WPG 3-Color Sunburst 4 stygų bosinė gitara

Classic Jazz Bass Tone in an Affordable Package

The Fender Squier Affinity Series Jazz Bass MN WPG 3-Color Sunburst brings the iconic J Bass silhouette and tonal character within reach of beginners and working players. Its slim poplar body sits comfortably against the player, while the satin-finished maple neck with a "C"-shaped profile invites hours of practice without fatigue. This model is the right gateway for aspiring bassists who want authentic Fender family DNA.

Player-Friendly Refinements That Set It Apart

What separates this bass from generic starter instruments is the attention to ergonomic detail. The thin body contour and bolt-on maple neck keep the instrument balanced whether seated or standing, while vintage-style open-gear tuning machines deliver smooth, accurate tuning across the full 864 mm scale. A 3-ply white pickguard paired with the 3-Color Sunburst finish gives the bass a stage-ready aesthetic.

Built for Comfortable, Fast Playability

A bass neck needs to disappear under the player's hand so the music can take focus. The maple neck with a slim "C" profile and 241 mm fingerboard radius flatters both chord work and lead lines.

• Neck Material: Maple — bright tonal response with a stable, snappy attack
• Neck Shape: "C" profile — slim and approachable for smaller hands and fast position shifts
• Fingerboard Radius: 241 mm — modern flat-ish curve that suits both chord playing and single-note runs

Lightweight Poplar Body Built for Long Sets

Poplar delivers a balanced tonal foundation while keeping the instrument light enough for younger players and extended gigs. The gloss polyurethane finish protects the wood and gives the bass a polished stage appearance.

• Body Material: Poplar — full low-end response with a focused midrange character
• Body Finish: Gloss polyurethane — durable surface that resists scratches and handling wear
• Scale Length: 864 mm — standard J Bass tension for familiar string feel and slap response

Ceramic Pickups and Stage-Ready Controls

Two ceramic-magnet single-coil pickups give this bass a slightly brighter top end than alnico-equipped siblings, which works well for cutting through a band mix.

• Bridge Pickup: Ceramic single-coil Jazz Bass — focused midrange punch ideal for slap and pick styles
• Neck Pickup: Ceramic single-coil Jazz Bass — warm, round tone for melodic bass lines
• Controls: Volume 1 (neck), Volume 2 (bridge), Master Tone — independent pickup blending with global EQ shaping

Ideal for Beginners, Students, and Working Bassists

The Affinity Series Jazz Bass is the right choice for first-time bassists stepping into the Fender family who need a comfortable, reliable instrument at an accessible price. Students will appreciate the slim neck profile during long practice sessions, while gigging players can rely on the chrome hardware and 4-saddle bridge for stable performance night after night.

The Squier Affinity Series: A Gateway to the Fender Family

Squier has served as Fender's gateway brand for decades, offering aspiring players an affordable path into the iconic Fender instrument lineup. The Affinity Series refines that mission with player-friendly updates like the slim "C" neck profile and ceramic single-coil J Bass pickups voiced in-house at Fender. Bassists who pick up this model get the same offset double-cutaway body shape that has defined the Jazz Bass since the early 1960s.
