The X5 II player supports all six major lossless music formats - DSD, APE, FLAC, ALAC, WMA and WAV lossless music formatswhich makes it a player with the most complete set of supported formats to date among Hi-Fi DAPs. The X5ii preseves the top-flight PCM1792A DAC decoder from Texas Instruments that was used in the original X5 and couples it with two new OPA1652 OP AMPs, with great dynamic performance and FET inputs for I/V conversion, realising extra-low distortion (0.00005%) and noise. The player then utilises two OPA1612 chips for lowpass filtering and voltage amplification. Finally, to attain a sufficient driving current for wide sound stage, highly dynamic musical performance, and good bass power the headphone output stage employs two BUF634U amplifiers which can supply up to 250 mA (a 67% increase on the original X5). The X5 II serves not only as a DAP, but also as a USB DAC when connected to a computer, thus satisfying your music needs in and out of the house.
