Distinctive Engineering: Trestle Block Bracing & FT-5E Filter'Tron Pickups

Incorporating internal trestle block bracing, the G5420t stands apart by limiting feedback and enhancing attack and sustain. New FT-5E Filter'Tron pickups deliver the authentic sparkle and definition needed across genres ranging from jazz to rockabilly.

Body & Hardware: Designed for Resonance and Endurance

Laminated maple construction shapes an open, airy resonance. To reinforce sound focus, trestle block bracing connects the top and back, while robust hardware maintains consistent tuning during long performances.

• Tailpiece: Bigsby B60 vibrato — expressive pitch control
• Bridge: Adjusto-Matic with secured laurel base — ensures intonation stability

Neck & Playability: Smooth Feel, Effortless Action

The "C"-shaped maple neck and laurel fingerboard, with a 12" (305 mm) radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, provide both comfort and agility for bends, jazz chords, and complex phrasing.

• Neck Material: Maple (set neck, gloss finish) — sturdy and ergonomic
• Laurel fingerboard ensures a natural, slick playing surface under the fingers.
• Frets: 22 medium jumbo
• Scale Length: 625 mm
• Nut Width: 42.86 mm — familiar Gretsch feel

• Pickups: FT-5E Filter'Tron (neck & bridge) — sparkling highs and tight lows
