Il Volo is an Italian operatic pop trio made up of Gianluca Ginoble, Piero Barone, and Ignazio Boschetto. Known for blending opera and pop—what they call "popera"—they rose to fame after winning the Sanremo Music Festival in 2015. That same year, they represented Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Grande amore, winning the televote and finishing third overall.
