Kings of Leon
Kings of Leon is an American rock band from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, formed in 1999 by brothers Caleb, Nathan, and Jared Followill, along with their cousin Matthew Followill. Starting out with a mix of Southern rock, garage rock, and blues, their sound has expanded over the years to embrace alternative rock influences. The band rose to early prominence in the UK, earning multiple top 40 singles and two BRIT Awards, with albums consistently reaching high chart positions. International success followed the release of Only by the Night in 2008, which produced hits like Sex on Fire and Use Somebody. Kings of Leon have released nine studio albums, received four Grammy Awards, and remain known for their energetic, evolving sound and enduring popularity.
