Designed for fast summer ascents through to winter summit pushes, Mutant 22 will never be off your back. When making cold-weather climbs, you’ll appreciate the snow-shedding fabric backpanel, side ski carry loops and dual ToolLock™ system which allows quick and secure ice axe attachment. When carrying a harness, the hipbelt can be reverse wrapped, or removed if preferred.

The main entry to the Mutant 22 is through a reverse opening top zipper, which means you can load your pack like a bucket designed to swallow your gear. You’ll find the top compression strap under the lid, which can be threaded outwards to double as a rope-stay. Under the top lid there’s a mesh pocket for your essentials and keys. Whether you’re rock climbing in the summer or ice climbing in the winter, Mutant 22 is your perfect partner in climb.
