The Palmer Ilm speaker simulation box eliminates all the uncertainties of amp micing, such as microphone selection, acoustic environment and location. Palmer Ilm offers three analog guitar speaker simulation settings that represent typical guitar speaker models.

In general, the Palmer Ilm is connected between the output of a guitar amplifier and a guitar speaker; but it can also be operated at the line output of the amplifier. To set the input level, the Ilm pad has a switch with three settings: 0, -15 and -30 dB.

The output of the Palmer Ilm is balanced and isolated from the transformer, which means that when connected to a mixing console or audio interface, there is no interference or buzzing of the ground loop. With Palmer Ilm, you can always count on what really matters: your music, your instrument and your sound.
