Pristine Peaks is an ultra-low distortion mono/stereo peak limiter designed for both mixing and mastering applications that demand the utmost in transparent peak control. It employs a novel approach to dynamics control that delivers an exceptionally "clean" sound without breakup or distortion, even at high gain reduction levels.
Unlike conventional peak limiters that saturate or clip waveform peaks, Pristine Peaks intelligently analyzes the waveform and applies the necessary gain reduction to control peaks without altering the original signal. This results in extremely low THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) that remains constant regardless of gain reduction.
