Soft String Textures is the ultimate embodiment of the original Soft String Spurs concept by Dan Keen, featuring bespoke performances by three of his all-time favourite string players: Ellie Consta (violin), Georgie Davis (viola), and Meera Raja (cello). This collaboration captures intimate, detailed, and emotive string textures that bring a unique character and warmth to your compositions.

Recorded in Spitfire Audio's Studio B with an 8-microphone setup at 96kHz, each player was captured solo to allow precise control and articulation. The library offers a rich palette of soft, expressive string sounds, including staggered tremolos, harmonic whistles, and sporadic trills, all carefully workshopped to create a deeply musical experience.
