Stereophonics are a renowned Welsh rock band formed in 1992 in Cwmaman, Cynon Valley. The current lineup features Kelly Jones on vocals, guitar, and keyboards, Richard Jones on bass and backing vocals, Adam Zindani on lead guitar, Jamie Morrison on drums, and touring member Tony Kirkham on keyboards. Known for their distinctive blend of alternative and classic British rock, Stereophonics have released thirteen studio albums, with nine reaching number one in the UK. Their breakthrough came with the 1999 album Performance and Cocktails, and they scored a UK number one single with Dakota in 2005. The band's energetic live shows have made them festival headliners and one of Wales' most successful musical acts, selling around 10 million albums globally. They remain a prominent part of the Cardiff music scene.
