Yamaha LL 6 A.R.E.

Electro-acoustic guitar with the original Jumbo body style from LL series that is known for its rich volume, a wide dynamic range, and excellent tonal balance. Beautiful, transparent tone is the result of a design that has been refined by artists around the globe. The guitar features a variety of premium features including the solid Engelmann spruce top treated with A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement), an original wood reforming technology developed by Yamaha. Through precise control of temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, the molecular properties of the wood can be manipulated into a more acoustically ideal condition, similar to the molecular characteristics of woods in instruments that have been played for years. Together with a modified non-scalloped bracing design, the sound has become more powerful and loud while still maintaining excellent balance. To fit to contemporary player's needs, the guitar is equipped with a Zero-Impact Pickup, ready for performance or recording at anytime without sacrificing its traditional look or full acoustic resonance. The guitar also offers a 5-ply neck design, constructed of rosewood and mahogany plies. The design integrates the neck, head, and body into a single unit creating a powerful, rich sound. This approach also creates a strong, stable neck that resists twisting and warping. A re-evaluation of string spacing, string height, fingerboard binding, and neck taper also led to an improved neck shape that better fits today’s traditional players. This design offers stable grip and smooth playability over the full length of the neck. Scale length is 650 mm, nut width is 44 mm and body depth is 100 to 125 mm. Other features include rosewood back, sides, fingerboard and bridge, die-cast gold tuners ad a tortoise pickguard. A hard-shell case is included. Natural colour design with urethane finish.
