LS6 ARE is an electro-acoustic guitar made by Yamaha from the L series. Designed for professional players, this instrument offers you a fantastic, balanced tone with amazing response, rich sound, loudness, wide dynamic range, a comfortable and enjoyable playing feel, and a gorgeous, classic look. The LS6 ARE has a Small Jumbo body. The top is made of special Engelmann A.R.E. solid spruce, the back and sides of rosewood. It is this combination of materials that is responsible for the instrument's excellent sound characteristics. The guitar is made using the exclusive, revolutionary A.R.E. technology, which, thanks to special temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure control, can transform the sound characteristics of new wood into the rich, vintage-sounding sound of old instruments. The guitar's neck, made from a 5-ply combination of mahogany and rosewood, is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets. The scale length is 25.6" (650mm) and the fret width is 1.73" (44mm). The guitar's headstock is also made of rosewood. The gold-plated hardware includes a die-cast tuning mechanism. The SRT Zero Impact pickup takes care of the quality sound transmission. The instrument is made with Brown Sunburst finish. The LS6 ARE comes with a guitar case.
