Good side of this guitar is the precision of neck and fretboard manufacturing. The neck was dead straight, the frets even and decently finished. No fret is too high or too low. Very low action is possible right away. The nut is cut well and the guitar doesn't feel hard, but a bit slot filing will make it even more enjoyable to play. Neck is rather solid, can withstand different tunings. The pickups are ok for metal purposes, although I replaced the bridge humbucker (~12.8 kOhms) with Entwistle X2 (~16.5 kOhm) which sounds just wonderful. The stock humbuckers lack the coil splitting option, which is a disadvantage (no autosplit in switch positions 2 and 4). The tremolo does require setup before proper functioning. I use decked trem and use it only with light to moderate vibrato and down-pitch motions and it holds tuning as expected. Summarizing, this guitar has excellent materials, geometrical precision and overall build quality for its price. The only aspect which I seen as needing an upgrade was pickup/pickups.

Excellent for its price. Good sound, comfortable neck, cool look. Mine needed little maintenance in 12 years despite intense use. The only thing I'd note is that sometimes tuning is a little difficult (unstable at first, may need to readjust a string with the key 2-3 times to reach a stable tuning) but it is not too bad. Very cool overall.
