Aswad is a British reggae group known for blending reggae with R and B and soul influences. Active since the mid-1970s, they have released 21 albums and achieved several UK hit singles, including the chart-toppers Don't Turn Around and Shine. The band's name means black in Arabic. Aswad has also been nominated for three Grammy Awards.
