It is 25% lighter and 40% smaller than the Creative iRoar plus water-resistant with an IPX6 rating. It features 5-driver speaker design with two far-field tweeters, a powerful subwoofer and two unobstructed passive radiators, and utilizes two amplifiers - one dedicated to driving lows and mids, and another is solely dedicated to deliver the high frequencies. The speaker offers dual orientation so it can be horizontally or vertically placed, adapting to the acoustic preferences. It incorporates the SuperWide technology that delivers a startlingly wide audio experience from a small device and can be used in four different placement scenarios. The unique ROAR feature boosts overall loudness and utilizes the speaker's built-in Digital Signal Processor to intelligently widen audio output for bigger and wider sound. The TeraBass feature intelligently makes up for the perceived loss of bass during low volume playback - all without artificially over-accentuating bass levels. The Equalizer mode allows user to customize the sound of the speaker according to listening preferences and can be further extended via downloadable Sound Blaster Connect app. The speaker comes with built-in controls and supports Bluetooth technology and NFC connectivity. It also allows for connection with PlayStation 4 console via the micro USB cable. The built-in MP3/FLAC player allows for inserting a microSD card or USB thumb drive, while the built-in microphone allows for recording. Alternatively, an external microphone can be connected via the Aux-in port. Also made for professionals, the speaker doubles as a personal PA system that helps user to deliver a compelling performance in your presentation, conference, and classes.
