Donald William Felder, born September 21, 1947, is an American musician best known as the lead guitarist for the Eagles from 1974 to 2001. He co-wrote several of the band’s hits, including the iconic "Hotel California." Felder was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Eagles in 1998 and later received recognition from the Musicians Hall of Fame. After his departure from the band in 2001, he wrote a revealing autobiography, Heaven and Hell, sharing his experiences with the Eagles.
