Enter Shikari are a British rock band from St Albans, formed in 1999 by Chris Batten, Rou Reynolds, and Rob Rolfe, with Rory Clewlow joining in 2003 to complete the lineup and finalize the band's name. Known for their energetic blend of rock and electronic music, they quickly built a dedicated following, playing major festivals and selling out notable venues by the mid-2000s. Their debut album, Take to the Skies, reached the top five of the UK charts in 2007 and was certified gold. Subsequent albums, including Common Dreads, A Flash Flood of Colour, and The Mindsweep, expanded their sound and fanbase, earning silver certifications and strong chart positions. Later releases like The Spark and Nothing Is True and Everything Is Possible continued their evolution. In 2023, their album A Kiss for the Whole World became their first to reach number one in the UK. Enter Shikari operate their own label, Ambush Reality, while also working with major labels for global distribution. Their innovative fusion of rock with electronic influences has established them as a distinctive force in modern British music.
