Electric guitar with the same look and classic features as a traditional Les Paul that is equipped with advanced technology to provide the guitar that is still a real Les Paul but also so much more! Body of the instrument features chambered design and is made of mahogany wood with a belly scarf and an AAA flame maple veneer top. Glued-in mahogany neck features a SlimTaper “D” profile and a Mortise and Tenon joint. 12”-radiused fingerboard is made of rosewood with pearloid trapezoid inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. The body and fingerboard feature a 1-ply cream binding. Scale length is 628.65 mm, nut width is 42.672 mm. The guitar is equipped with the Epiphone ProBucker pickups in neck and bridge positions, and the Shadow NanoMag Low-impedance fingerboard pickup. It provides controls on the front: a 3-way pickup selector, Volume control knobs for neck and bridge pickups, NanoMag Volume control with push-push A/B switch, Master Tone control and A/B LED indicators. Back section provides NanoMag Gain, Treble and Bass controls. The instrument also features a chromatic tuner secretly built into the bridge pickup, with on/off switch, A-G indicators, High/Low and In-Tune LEDs. It provides one 1/4'' mono (blended) and one 1/4'' stereo outputs, plus a USB output with included 3m long USB cable for direct connectivity with computer. It allows for using guitar applications such as the included Native Instrument’s software GuitarRig 4LE (downloadable from Epiphone.com) and for playing the guitar through a variety of simulated amplifiers and effects while listening through the computer speakers or headphones. The GuitarRig also features a recorder, a metronome, a tuner and more. All electronics are powered via 9V battery (included), a computer supplies power when USB connected. The guitar further features a LockTone Tune-o-matic bridge with Stopbar, nickel hardware, Grover machine heads (16:1) and D’Addario strings (.010-.046).
