The five-part Violin Book for Joy series is designed as a basic material for teaching the play in the 3rd position from the very beginning of the study (books 1-3) and for the transition to the play in all positions (books 4, 5).

Violin Book 1 and Violin Book 2 - the basic notebooks for the beginning of the game in the 3rd position form one unit and can be used in two ways:
- as the only material for complete beginners in the 1st and 2nd year of teaching (school), as they contain an introduction to all the necessary components of the game in its beginnings; in addition, they bring to elementary teaching a conscious perception and use of basic intervals, on the smallest musical forms - songs, compositions and etudes of minimal scope, suitable for preschool children - as a material for an easy and attractive transition to playing in positions for children already playing in the 1st position (during the 2nd-4th year of ZUŠ) in combination with any school for beginners.
These two books can later serve small violinists as a collection of songs and compositions for various occasions (the last chapter always consists of a set of carols in a two-part arrangement).

Violin Book 3 brings recital compositions in the 3rd position for the youngest and more advanced violinists, which are an integral part of teaching according to Violin Books 1 and 2. 14 miniatures for violin and piano in the style of folklore, baroque, classicism and romanticism progressively leads from the first stage experience of small beginners (1st-2nd chapter) after cibrating the style game of the more experienced (3rd-4th chapter). The accompanying texts at the beginning of the individual chapters approach the given stylistic periods in an accessible form. The publication is supplemented by a separate notebook with piano accompaniments (H 8010b). Violin books 1, 2 and 3 are accompanied by charming and inspiring illustrations by Martina Špinková.
