Firewind is a power metal band from Thessaloniki, Greece, formed in 1998 by guitarist Gus G. Initially started as a project to promote his demo Nocturnal Symphony, Firewind evolved into a full band and released their debut album, Between Heaven and Hell, a few years later. Signed to AFM Records, the band has released ten studio albums and achieved international recognition in the metal scene.
