Excellent bass - big sound The bass is plays very well. I have short hands and it is better for me than a full scale (34") bass. The setup was correct out of the box - only needed to tune the bass (to avoid any bassist jokes - yes we do tune our instrument). Very powerful sound and 3 possible tone and pickup configuration. It cuts though the mixe with ease. Stays well in tune, even if you slap it and pop it hard. It is quite well balanced - to be fully in control use a wide strap. Plug it in and rock'n'roll!

Halusin Leo Fenderin viimeiseksi jääneen yrityksen G&L basson, sillä minulla on/oli jo Fender ja Musicman -bassot ennestään. Basso oli ulkoasullisesti virheettömässä kunnossa, hieno punainen väri. Kaula suora ja nauhat kunnossa, ei hiomistarvetta nauhojen päissä. Teknisesti bassossa oli säädettävää, sillä mikrofonit ovat tosi kuumat ja olivat liian lähellä kieliä, ääni särki. MFD -mikrofonin ruuvisäädöillä ei sitä saanut riittävän alas, vaan mikrofonin alta oli otettava jousi pois, jotta sen sai tarpeeksi etäälle kielistä. Tämän säädön jälkeen äänen särkeminen loppui. Intonaatio ja kielien korkeus omaan soittotyyliin oli myös säädettävä, mutta niinhän se yleensä aina on. Tästä tuli mun kakkosbasso rokkijamikämpille.
