Jordan Edward Benjamin, better known as grandson, is an American-Canadian singer, songwriter, and rapper signed to Fueled by Ramen. He gained recognition with his debut EP A Modern Tragedy Vol. 1 in 2018, featuring the hit single Blood Water. Known for addressing contemporary social issues in his music, grandson followed up with A Modern Tragedy Vol. 2 in 2019 and released his debut album Death of an Optimist in 2020. His second album, I Love You, I'm Trying, was released in 2023.
