It features a basswood body with gloss polyester finish and a maple speed neck with tilt-back scarf joint headstock. Its bound compound-radius (12”-16”) rosewood fingerboard curves more dramatically at the phenolic nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. It features 24 jumbo frets and Jackson’s distinctive pearloid shark fin inlays. Scale length is 648 mm, nut width is 42.86 mm. The guitar is equipped with EMG HZ humbucking pickups – an EMG HZ H4-AN in the neck position and EMG HZ H4-B in the bridge position – that deliver well-balanced tone with tight bass, glassy mids and crunching highs. Sound can be controlled via 3-position blade switch, Master Volume and Master Tone controls with black dome style knobs.
