Line 6 HX Stomp is a compact amp and effects processor that packs over 300 Helix-family amps, cabs, and effects into a chassis barely larger than a standard guitar pedal. Running up to six processing blocks simultaneously, it also doubles as a 24-bit/96kHz USB audio interface for direct recording.

Line 6 HX Stomp — Helix Power in a Stompbox
Line 6 HX Stomp delivers the full Helix modeling engine in a chassis barely larger than a standard guitar pedal. It packs over 300 amps, cabs, and effects from the Helix, M-Series, and legacy Line 6 catalogs, running up to six processing blocks at once. The unit works as a super stompbox, backup rig, tone expander, USB audio interface, or full guitar or bass rig.
What Sets the HX Stomp Apart
Built around a SHARC audio engine, the processor combines component modeling — measuring each amp stage — with behavioral modeling that captures analog behavior like germanium fuzz and bucket-brigade delay. Three capacitive-touch footswitches with color-coded LED rings and Snapshots give players instant, dropout-free access to multiple preset variations.
Connections and Signal Routing
MIDI In and MIDI Out/Thru jacks turn the unit into a rig command center, sending Program Change and Continuous Controller messages. Standard 6.3 mm TS jack inputs and outputs handle instrument-level connections.
