High-quality cajon from Seguiriya line of Artisan Edition series that features a Baltic birch (Betula Pendula) resonating body with decorative wood inlay and elegant heat-branding and an Indian heartwood front plate which adds striking beauty and elegance. The 9-ply, 12 mm thick solid resonating body develops the sound into a full, punchy tone that projects with clarity and warmth and is equipped with an extra thick wooden sound port ring for bass compression. The front plate is ergonomically rounded with convex contact. Rounded front plate corners and thumb notches further allow for greater comfort and playability. Inside the cajon there are two sets of eight micro-coiled metal cajon strings that deliver a snapping snare effect. These strings are hand wound in the style of master cajon builder, José ''Pepote'' Hernández Diaz, and each set is adjustable by tuning screw with the included key. The cajon also features specially formulated soft rubber feet and pop filter on sound hole. Dimensions: 286 x 483 x 298 mm. The instrument is made in Spain and has satin finish.
