A hangja zseniális. Finoman ütve is szép hangokat ad, ha kell, akkor öblös, ha kell, akkor pattogós. A szélén ütve pedig a fa rezgésének azt a csillogó hangját adja vissza. Nehéz megfogalmazni ezt laikusként. A lényeg, hogy tetszik.
