Portable 88-Key Stage Piano with Hammer Action

The Pianonova Malaga 45 stage piano brings a full 88-key hammer-action keyboard to performers who want authentic touch in a portable format. This digital stage piano suits gigging musicians, advanced students, and home studio players who need weighted keys without the bulk of a furniture-style cabinet. The instrument pairs a graded hammer mechanism with Bluetooth connectivity, working on stage, in rehearsal rooms, or at home. At 11 kg and 131 cm wide, it travels easily between venues.

What Sets the Malaga 45 Apart

What separates this model from entry-level keyboards in the same price tier is the pairing of a true hammer-action mechanism with integrated Bluetooth audio streaming. Most competing portable pianos at this weight class rely on spring-loaded or semi-weighted actions, whereas the instrument delivers graded resistance that responds to playing dynamics. The 200 onboard voices cover acoustic pianos, electric pianos, organs, strings, and synth pads from a single instrument.

Keyboard and Action — Authentic Weighted Touch

The keyboard is the heart of any stage piano, and Pianonova built the Malaga 45 around a mechanism that mimics acoustic resistance.

• Keys: 88 — full concert range covering 7¼ octaves for advanced repertoire
• Action: Hammer Action (HA) — weighted keys that respond to playing dynamics
• Standard key sizing ensures that muscle memory transfers directly from acoustic piano practice.

Sound Engine and Polyphony

Dense chords and layered sounds demand generous polyphony headroom.

• Polyphony: 128 notes — handles dense chords and layered voices without dropped notes
• Sounds: 200 voices — acoustic pianos, electric pianos, organs, strings, and synth pads
• Built-in reverb, chorus, and metronome shape practice sessions and live performances

Connectivity, I/O, and Build

Modern players route audio through mixers and apps, so the I/O set covers the essentials.

• Bluetooth: Yes — wireless audio streaming and app pairing
• Outputs: Line Jack 6.3 mm — routes signal to mixers and stage monitors
• Dual headphone outputs are integrated, allowing two players to practice silently side by side.
• Pedal inputs: Yes — sustain pedal ships in the box, ready to plug in
• USB: Yes — MIDI connection to computers and tablets for recording
• Weight: 11 kg — manageable for one person carrying between gigs
• Dimensions: 131 cm × 16 cm × 29 cm — fits across a car back seat
• Finish: Gloss — wipes clean after transport and looks sharp under stage lights
• Battery powered: No — runs on the included 15V power supply for consistent stage performance

Who Should Choose This Instrument

This model is the right choice for gigging keyboardists, advanced students, and home studio players who need weighted-key feel with wireless connectivity at a sensible price. Solo performers benefit from the 11 kg chassis when moving between venues, while teachers appreciate the dual headphone outputs for side-by-side lessons. Bands routing backing tracks via Bluetooth get a 200-voice library covering most pop, rock, jazz, and worship setlists. Players upgrading from a 61- or 76-key keyboard finally get the full 88-key range needed for classical training.
