Pierce the Veil is a rock band from San Diego, California, formed in 2006 by brothers Vic and Mike Fuentes after their previous band ended. Bassist Jaime Preciado and guitarist Tony Perry completed the lineup in 2007. Known for their energetic style and emotional lyrics, the band has released five studio albums, starting with A Flair for the Dramatic in 2007. Their third album, Collide with the Sky, brought them major attention with the single King for a Day. After a brief hiatus, Pierce the Veil returned with their fifth album, The Jaws of Life, in 2023 and continue to tour worldwide.
