PRhyme is a hip hop duo formed by Detroit rapper Royce da 5'9" and New York producer DJ Premier. Known for their sharp lyricism and innovative production, they launched their own label, PRhyme Records, and released their debut album in 2014, followed by PRhyme 2 in 2018. Each album’s production is built around samples from a single artist: Adrian Younge for the first project and AntMan Wonder for the second. This approach challenged Premier’s usual sampling style, pushing both artists creatively. PRhyme also contributed to the Southpaw film soundtrack. A third album is currently in development.
