The Ruler by Soundiron is an experimental percussion library that captures the unique sounds produced by rulers and tape measures. Designed for the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.5 or later, this library includes over 24 playable articulations, 20 custom FX presets, and 20 sound-designed ambiences.

• Sound Content: Features a wide variety of sounds such as pings, plucks, slaps, drops, rattles, taps, and FX, sampled from rulers and tape measures. It includes recordings with 6-inch and 12-inch rulers, as well as 25-foot and 10-foot tape measures, providing a diverse range of tones and effects.
• Interface Features: Offers automation-ready sound-shaping controls, including swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, pitch (coarse and fine), articulation switching, cross-fading, and layering. Also includes an adaptive LFO system and a customizable arpeggiator with a velocity table and key/scale lock system.
• Effects Rack: Equipped with 18 DSP effect modules such as phaser, flanger, delay, distortion, amp and cab simulators, compressors, EQ, and convolution reverb with 99 different spaces and 40 custom FX impulses.
• Additional Content: Includes 20 unique ambient patches and 20 custom FX presets to enhance creative possibilities.

This library provides extensive sound-shaping capabilities, making it a versatile tool for composers and sound designers. It is not compatible with the free KONTAKT Player.
