Reliability without wear and tear

When it comes to tools, such as spanners and pipe pliers, for example, which need to withstand high loads, properties such as high tensile strength, the corresponding ductility of the material with higher elasticity and the lowest possible susceptibility to cracking are of particular importance. These requirements are particularly well met by Premium chrome / vanadium steel, an alloyed tool steel with manganese, chrome, silicon and carbon. Tools made from this steel have a long service life and are an excellent choice for many years of use.

Alloyed tool steel 31CrV3, in accordance with EU directive 2000 / 53 / EC.

• 0.60 % manganese for higher tensile strength and ductility
• 0.60 % chrome for lower susceptibility to cracking and higher tensile strength
• 0.30 % silicon for higher elasticity
• 0.35 % carbon for appropriate tool hardness

Wrenches and pipe wrenches made of chrome / vanadium steel with added alloyed elements for even better properties have a particular ergonomic shape, are safe to use and are now also characterised by even higher resistance to wear.

Long lifespan

The wrenches are made of Premium chrome vanadium steel with a greater density at the points of the highest pressure, and such dimensioning and manufacture only increase their extreme power and durability.

Safety cut

With their special safety cut, the wrenches prevent the damaging of corners and edges of the screws and nuts by distributing the force evenly over the surface away from the outer lines of the nut or screw head instead of directly on the edges.
